Radical Service 👋 We’re hiring Careers 5 min read

We’re growing. Looking for a colleague at the bench.

Usually, here we write about repairs and Apple news. Today we’re making an exception: we’re not presenting anything — we’re looking for someone to introduce themselves to us. We’re growing our team and need one more technician for our workshop in Sector 1, Bucharest. If you see yourself in the lines below — or you know someone who’d fit — let’s talk.

We’ve been repairing Apple devices since 2014, and since 2019 we do it in the workshop on Aristotel Pappia Street. Over 25,000 repairs later, it still looks as simple as day one: a device comes in „dead” and leaves alive, with the customer clear on what happened.

Behind that simplicity is a bench with a microscope, a soldering station, 1.2 mm screws and flex cables as thin as a hair. And, most importantly, people who don’t rush and don’t improvise. We’re a small team — every person counts — and we need at least one more person on it.

Is it you? Or do you know someone?

Maybe you’re the very person we’re looking for — or you’re one word away from them. So: if the description below fits you, apply. If a friend, a relative or an acquaintance who’s good with their hands and into tech comes to mind, send them this link. A 10-second forward can change someone’s year — and it would help us a lot.

The role: Apple repair technician

MacBook, iPhone and iPad, on current models (M1 → M5, iPhone 12 → 17), with parts we keep in stock.

What you’ll do

  • ✓ Diagnosis and repairs: batteries, displays, keyboards, trackpad, ports, post-liquid cleaning.
  • ✓ Intake: note the fault and physical condition on the service sheet, explain what’s next to the customer.
  • ✓ Full testing before handover — not „it should work”, but it works.
  • ✓ Direct communication with the customer: what you found, what you recommend, what it costs.

What we look for

  • ✓ Real service experience (laptop or phone); Apple is a plus, not a requirement.
  • ✓ Careful hands and patience: no rushing, no improvising.
  • ✓ Honesty: if you don’t know, you say so; if you erred, you say so. The rest is learned.
  • ✓ Clear written Romanian; basic technical English for documentation.
  • ✓ Plus (not required): microsoldering / board-level repair.

What we offer

  • ✓ Permanent contract; salary discussed at interview, based on experience.
  • ✓ Equipped workshop: soldering station, microscope, tools and consumables — you don’t bring your own kit.
  • ✓ Fixed hours, no weekends, no shifts.
  • ✓ You work only on Apple, on current models.
  • ✓ Continuous learning, from a team with 12 years of experience.

How to apply — no CV

We don’t care about the CV, we care about the person. You answer three required questions (experience, distance to the workshop, what you’ve done with your own hands) and write a few lines about yourself. You get an instant email confirmation; if shortlisted, we call within 3 working days, followed by a chat at the workshop and a paid trial day.

Know the right person? Send them the link.

The best colleague usually comes through a recommendation. If someone came to mind while reading, pass this page along — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to send a CV?

No. Really — we don’t care about the CV, we care about the person. You apply by answering three short questions and writing a few lines about yourself: what you’ve repaired, how you think, how you talk to a customer. That’s it.

Do I need Apple experience?

It’s a big plus, but not a requirement. What counts is real service experience (laptop or phone), careful hands and honesty. The rest — models, procedures, Apple’s quirks — you learn from a team that’s been doing this for 12 years.

Where is the workshop and what are the hours?

40 Aristotel Pappia Street, Sector 1, Bucharest (near Piața Domenii). Full-time, Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30, on site. No weekends, no shifts.

What happens after I apply?

You get an instant email confirmation. If you’re shortlisted, we call you within 3 working days, followed by a chat at the workshop and, if we both like it, a paid trial day.

I’m not a technician. How can I help?

Maybe you know someone who fits — a friend, a relative, someone good with their hands and into tech. If so, send them this link. It would help us a lot.
